FAQ
Here are a few frequently asked questions to help you learn more about what I do and how I work.
How did you transition into coding?
I was originally studying architecture at university, but during my studies I realised I wanted to explore a different path. My brother-in-law, who works as a product manager, suggested I try a coding bootcamp. That advice introduced me to web development, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What was the most challenging part of switching from architecture to coding?
The hardest part was learning to think in a completely different way. Architecture is very visual and design-led, whereas coding requires breaking problems into logical steps. Over time, I found my design background actually gave me an advantage in creating user-friendly interfaces.
Why did you choose web development specifically?
I liked the idea of combining creativity with technology. Web development allows me to build things that are not only functional but also enjoyable to use.
What kind of projects do you enjoy the most?
I really enjoy projects that balance design and functionality — for example, interactive web apps where I can apply both problem-solving skills and visual creativity.
What advice would you give to students or career changers interested in tech?
Start experimenting as early as possible. Take free online courses, join coding challenges, or try a bootcamp. You don’t need a tech background to get started — just curiosity and persistence.
What motivates you to keep learning?
Technology is always evolving, and I find it exciting to keep up with new frameworks and tools. Each new skill I gain makes me a stronger developer and helps me tackle more complex challenges.
